Highest-rated mount per printer type by December 2026
Community votes determine the winner. One winner per printer model. The mount with the most net votes (upvotes minus downvotes) for each supported printer type on December 31, 2026 earns a full free year of Ultimate.
Create a stylus or pen holder that attaches to your printer's printhead. Test it with a capacitive stylus for touch mode or a pen for drawing mode. Use any CAD software — Fusion 360, TinkerCAD, OpenSCAD, or whatever you prefer.
Publish your design as a Thing on Thingiverse with photos and printing instructions. Include which printer model it fits, what stylus or pen diameter it accommodates, and the X/Y offset from the nozzle.
Paste your Thingiverse URL on our community page. Select your printer type and mount type (stylus, pen, or universal). We review the listing to confirm it meets the basic requirements.
Once approved, get a free month of Ultimate. If your mount becomes the highest-rated for its printer type by end of 2026, you win a full free year. Community votes determine the ranking.

Design guidelines for the best chance of winning the community vote.
Mounts firmly to the printhead without wobble or interference with the X/Y gantry. The mount should not add excessive weight or shift during rapid moves.
Snaps on or uses common hardware (M3 screws). No permanent modification to the printer. Users should be able to attach and remove the mount in under a minute.
Stylus tip or pen offset from the nozzle is consistent and measurable for calibration. Document the exact X and Y offsets so users can enter them in PrintPilot.
Works with standard capacitive styli (6–8mm diameter) or common pen and marker sizes. A universal mount that holds both stylus and pen is ideal.
No supports needed, prints flat, minimal post-processing. The best designs print on any FDM printer without special settings or materials.
Clear photos, printing instructions, and offset measurements on Thingiverse. Include at least one photo of the mount installed on the printer with a stylus or pen.
Design a mount for any of these 14 printer models. One winner per printer type.
