1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PrintPilot ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes become effective when posted, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

PrintPilot is a browser-based 3D printer simulator that provides virtual visualization and simulation of G-code execution. The Service is designed for educational, planning, and visualization purposes. Key characteristics of the Service:

• PrintPilot runs entirely in your web browser. All file processing, simulation, and rendering occurs on your local device.
• PrintPilot does not connect to, communicate with, or control any physical 3D printer, CNC machine, or other hardware device.
• PrintPilot does not transmit your files, G-code, or any user content to any server or third party.
• PrintPilot includes printer profiles containing publicly available technical specifications (build volumes, motion limits, kinematics type) for simulation compatibility purposes only.

3. Simulation Disclaimer — Important

THE SERVICE IS A SOFTWARE SIMULATION TOOL. IT IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR:

• Proper G-code verification using your printer manufacturer's recommended software and procedures.
• Machine calibration, maintenance, and safety checks as specified by your printer manufacturer.
• Following all manufacturer safety guidelines, warnings, and operating procedures.
• Professional engineering judgment when operating physical equipment.

Simulation results may differ from actual printer behavior due to differences in firmware, mechanical tolerances, material properties, environmental conditions, and other real-world factors that the simulation cannot fully replicate. You must independently verify any G-code before executing it on physical equipment.

4. No Hardware Control

PrintPilot is incapable of communicating with physical hardware. The Service contains no serial port, USB, network, or other hardware communication code. Any G-code displayed, generated, compiled, or exported by the Service exists only as data within your browser or as files you choose to download. The decision to use any such G-code on physical equipment is made entirely by you, outside of and independent from the Service.

5. Assumption of Risk

You expressly acknowledge and agree that:

• The use of 3D printers and related equipment involves inherent risks including but not limited to fire, burns, mechanical injury, property damage, and electrical hazards.
• You assume all risk and responsibility for any use of G-code, toolpaths, or simulation data obtained from or generated by the Service on physical equipment.
• You are solely responsible for verifying the safety and correctness of any G-code before executing it on physical machinery.
• You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable safety regulations, building codes, and equipment manufacturer guidelines.

6. Exported and Generated G-code

The Service may allow you to export compiled timeline G-code, generate G-code from drawing mode, or generate G-code from touch automation presets. All exported or generated G-code is provided for simulation review purposes. You acknowledge that:

• Exported G-code has been validated only within the simulation environment and may not account for real-world conditions.
• Running exported G-code on physical equipment is done entirely at your own risk.
• You must review, verify, and test all exported G-code using your printer manufacturer's recommended tools before physical execution.
• The developer makes no representations about the suitability of generated or exported G-code for any physical machine.

7. Warranty Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
• WARRANTIES THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
• WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY SIMULATION RESULTS, PRINTER PROFILES, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS, OR OTHER CONTENT PROVIDED BY THE SERVICE.
• WARRANTIES THAT SIMULATION RESULTS WILL CORRESPOND TO ACTUAL PRINTER BEHAVIOR OR THAT G-CODE VALIDATED IN THE SIMULATION WILL EXECUTE SAFELY ON PHYSICAL EQUIPMENT.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL.
• PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF PHYSICAL EQUIPMENT IN CONNECTION WITH SIMULATION DATA FROM THE SERVICE.
• COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS OR SERVICES.
• ANY DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ERRORS, INACCURACIES, OR OMISSIONS IN SIMULATION RESULTS OR PRINTER PROFILES.

WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF THE DEVELOPER HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

THE DEVELOPER'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO THE DEVELOPER FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00 USD).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the developer and its affiliates, officers, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service.
• Your use of any G-code, simulation data, or exported files from the Service on physical equipment.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of any third-party rights.
• Any claim that your use of the Service caused damage to a third party.

10. Intellectual Property

PrintPilot and its original source code, features, functionality, user interface, and documentation are the intellectual property of the developer and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works of the Service or any portion thereof without the developer's prior written consent.

11. Third-Party Trademarks

PrintPilot is not manufactured by, affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any 3D printer manufacturer, phone manufacturer, or slicer software developer. All third-party product names, model names, company names, and logos referenced in the Service — including but not limited to Bambu Lab, Prusa, Creality, Voron, Apple, Samsung, Google, OnePlus, and their respective product lines — are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective holders.

These names are used solely for the purpose of identifying publicly available hardware specifications for simulation compatibility (nominative fair use). The inclusion of any manufacturer's printer profile or device dimensions does not imply any relationship, endorsement, or affiliation between PrintPilot and that manufacturer.

Printer profiles and device specifications contained in the Service are based on publicly available technical information. The developer makes no claim of ownership over any third-party trademarks, specifications, or intellectual property.

12. Third-Party Content and Specifications

The Service includes technical specifications for various 3D printers and mobile devices sourced from publicly available information. These specifications are provided for simulation purposes and may not be accurate, complete, or up to date. The developer does not warrant the accuracy of any third-party specifications included in the Service.

13. User-Uploaded Files

All files you upload to the Service (including G-code, 3MF, and image files) are processed entirely within your web browser and are never transmitted to any server or third party. You retain complete ownership of your files. The Service does not store, access, copy, or share your uploaded content beyond the scope of local in-browser processing during your active session.

14. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation

PrintPilot offers optional paid subscription plans ("Pro plans") that unlock additional features. By subscribing to a Pro plan, you agree to the following:

• Recurring billing: Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis at the price displayed at checkout. Your payment method will be automatically charged at the beginning of each billing cycle until you cancel.
• Payment processing: All payments are processed securely by Stripe. PrintPilot does not store your credit card details.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal (accessible from your account settings). Upon cancellation, you retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. No further charges will be made after cancellation.
• Refunds: Subscription payments are generally non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us at support@printpilothq.com within 14 days of the charge and we will review your request on a case-by-case basis.
• Price changes: We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle following the notice period. Your continued subscription after a price change constitutes acceptance.
• Promotional pricing: From time to time, we may offer promotional or sale pricing. Promotional prices are valid for the billing periods specified and may revert to standard pricing thereafter.

The free demo mode of PrintPilot is available without a subscription and does not require payment or an account.

15. User-Submitted Content (Community Mounts)

The Community Mounts feature allows signed-in users to submit links to 3D-printable mount designs hosted on third-party platforms (such as Thingiverse), along with titles and descriptions. By submitting content, you agree to the following:

• License grant: You grant PrintPilot a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and use your submitted titles, descriptions, and links within the Service for the purpose of operating the Community Mounts feature.
• Ownership: You retain ownership of any content you submit. PrintPilot does not host the actual 3D model files — only links to third-party platforms.
• Accuracy: You represent that your submissions are accurate, that you have the right to share the linked content, and that the submissions do not infringe any third-party rights.
• Prohibited content: You may not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, threatening, harassing, infringing on intellectual property rights, or otherwise objectionable.
• Moderation: All mount submissions are subject to review and approval by administrators. We reserve the right to reject, remove, or modify any submission at our sole discretion, without notice or liability.
• No endorsement: The presence of a mount submission on the Service does not constitute an endorsement of the linked design, its creator, or its suitability for any purpose. Users download and print third-party designs at their own risk.

16. Copyright and DMCA

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect users to do the same. If you believe that content accessible through the Community Mounts feature infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice to our designated copyright agent at support@printpilothq.com containing:

• Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
• Identification of the material on our Service that you believe is infringing, with sufficient detail for us to locate it.
• Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email).
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content and make reasonable efforts to notify the user who submitted it. Repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated.

17. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service except as permitted by applicable law.
• Attempt to interfere with, compromise the security of, or disrupt the Service.
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices in the Service.
• Redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit the Service without the developer's prior written consent.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use or circumvents rate limits.
• Submit false, misleading, or infringing content through the Community Mounts or any other user-facing feature.

18. Service Availability and Termination

The developer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you. The developer may also restrict or terminate access to the Service at its sole discretion. If we terminate your access to a paid subscription for reasons other than your breach of these Terms, you will receive a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of your current billing period.

19. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions of these Terms remain in full force and effect.

21. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the developer regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral.

22. Waiver

The failure of the developer to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision. No waiver shall be effective unless made in writing and signed by the developer.
